Introduction
I am April Barnett (a.b.) owner of a.b.'s fuzzy babies and proud parent of two fuzzy felines. I have been taking care of pets in and around the Mid City area for 16+ years.
Pet Sitters International is the world's largest educational organization for professional pet sitters and dog walkers since 1994 and I have been a member for 16 years and received my accreditation as a Certified Professional Pet Sitter.
I am also insured, bonded and background checked through Acutraq and certified in Pet CPR/First Aid.
Our Business
After a decade in corporate America, I decided it was time for a change. Reflecting on the joy I experienced years before as a personal assistant to celebrity clients and caring for their pets; I realized my passion for animals combined with pet sitting was the perfect fit.
From a young age, pets have been cherished members of my family. When I traveled, it was a relief to know that someone was not only caring for my fuzzy babies but also adding a layer of security to my home.
I wanted to offer that same peace of mind to others, and that's how a.b.'s fuzzy babies started. I look forward to providing you with exceptional service!

My mission is to offer peace of mind to my clients by ensuring their pets receive exceptional care from a professional pet sitter. Through personalized in-home visits, I provide both comfort and security, adapting to each pet’s evolving needs. I am committed to continually expanding my knowledge of pet care, fostering long-lasting, trusting relationships with both my clients and their beloved pets.
